BENEFICIATION FLOW SHEET FOR MERCURY ORE FROM INDONESIA

At the end of November, an Indonesia customer visited Forui to negotiate about Mercury Ore beneficiation project. And the customer was very satisfied with Forui equipment about mercury ore processing, and both parts established relations of cooperation intention.  Here we mainly introduce the flow sheet of this mercury ore beneficiation.

The following picture is about mercury from Indonesia. As can be seen from the picture that the mercury granules are inlayed in the stone unevenly, and there is clear boundry between the stone and the mercury granules. The waste stone is mainly carbonatite and quartz, and there is a big density difference between the mercury granules and the waste stone. So for this kind of mercury, combination of gravity separation and floatation separation will be a great choice to get the best profit with the smallest plant investment.

Firstly, gravity separation can get the blocky mercury granules while the fine mercury stays in the waste stones while some powder fines flows in the tailings, so floatation separation can be used to get the mercury in the tailings heightening the recovery rate. The combination of gravity separation and floatation separation can increase the beneficiation efficiency to the largest extent and improve the beneficiation index apparently, and this combination is the best flow sheet for this kind of mercury.
