Fluorite Sand Screening Washing Chart

Fluorite sand screening washing is actually to remove the waste gangue from by water washing to upgrade the fluorite. Simple washing can do little to improve grade of fluorite, and the fluorite sand can be updated by hydraulic dressing, i.e. gravity separation, to get high grade fluorite concentrate. The granules are not even about the size with big size range. Gravity separation has a strict limitation about the feeding size, so the fluorite sand shall be screened to be classified to be different size ranges. There is much clay in the sand and ore washing will be needed before screening. The screening process plays an important role during the whole processing line, and has a big effect on the following upgrading. The main fluorite screening equipment is circular vibrating screen, rotary screen while the common fluorite sand washing plant is spiral classifier.

There is still a certain degree of useless gangue in the fluorite sand after screening and washing. And here some kind of separation equipment will be involved to upgrade the fluorite by removing the useless gangue. This separation plant can upgrade the fluorite by separating the fluorite granules out from mixtures of fluorite and gangue while the former washing machine is to washing the clay out from the ore. And this is the difference of washing equipment and separation plant. The washing machine can improve the fluorite limitedly while the screening is to separate the different fluorite granules into different size ranges while the separation equipment is to remove the useless gangues to upgrade the fluorite grade to a large extent.

Floatation separation can help to get fluorite of +97% content and it is also the only way to get the high quality chemical fluorite.
