Over-flow Ball milling machine is mainly used in mineral processing, ceramics , chemicals, cement, glass,refectories and other industries. There are two types of Ball mill: dry type and wet type. Dry type mainly used in refectories, cement, chemical fertilizer, glass industries. Wet type is used in mineral processing, ceramics and chemical industries. Working principle:
over-flow ball mill consists of cylinder, end cover, main bearing, quill shaft, transmission gear, feeder, etc..As kind of horizonal cylinder rotary device, its feeding material will be put into the quill spiral through the feeding device to enter the first cabin. There is stepped or ripple coat in the inner of the cylinder. There are kinds of steel balls, and the balls will be brought to a certain height and when they draw, the materials will be hit and milled.When the material flows to the second cabin, it will be milled again, and the powder will be discharged to finish the milling processing.
Usage:
The kind of ball mill is generally used to grind material 1/4 inch and finer, down to the particle size of 20 to 75 microns. To achieve the efficiency with ball mills, they must be operated in a closed system, with oversize material continuously being recirculated back into the mill to be remilled by various classifiers, such as screens,spiral classifiers, cyclones and air classifiers.
