The density of the pyrite is big and its inlay size is coarse while the intergrowth gangue density is small, so gravity separation can help to gain ideal beneficiation efficiency. The pyrite (especially from coal gangue) granules are coarse and hard, and gravity separation is usually used for this kind of pyrite. And the flow sheet can be crushing or rod milling the raw ore to liberate or dissociate the pyrite grains from the waste stones, then the liberated or dissociated ore will go for pyrite jigging machine for further concentration with high recovery rate and good beneficiation efficiency.
