.Chromite Smelting Slag Processing Line

Chromite smelting slag processing line is mainly to recover the chromite alloy from the chrome smelting slag. For this processing line, not only the smelting alloy can be recovered, but also the final slag can be recycled. Here Forui shares some process about chromite smelting slag.

The recycling value is mainly the recovery of the chromite alloy. Due to the limitation of the smelting technology, there are inlay of chromite alloy granules. Recovering the alloy can benefit additionally and reduce resource waste. This recycling flow sheet can influence the economic profit of the whole recovery project.

Generally, there are two phases of process, the first one of fine chromite alloy recovering while the second one coarse alloy recovery. So why not get the alloy of all size together?

In the market, the price of coarse chromite alloy is much higher than that of fine chromite alloy granules. Separating the alloy separately can help to guarantee the profit biggest, and this asks for special recycling chart. Crushing will be needed to make the slag to be -30mm, and then vibrating screen will be involved to get slag of -8mm and slag of 8-30mm. The 8-30mm slag will go for AM30 jigger to get coarse chromite alloy while the -8mm slag will go for LTA1010/2 jigger to gain fine chrome alloy. This is to say, the recovering of chrome alloy needs two sets of different chromite jiggers at least to recover both fine and coarse alloys.

The slag after recovering can be used as cement additive or new building material or emery treatment. This whole processing line helps to realize the total recycling of slag and friendly to environment.
