Plants to Enrich Gold from River Sand
 

River sand with gold content is called placer gold ore. So which kind of equipment will be involved to get the gold from this river sand gold ore?

There are many kinds of machines to get gold concentrate from the river sand. And different plants can be used for different gold ore. Generally, plants of screening, gravity separation and fine selection can be needed. Here Forui share some gold beneficiation plants with you.

There is a large quantity of gravels in the river sand without any gold, and it is a great idea to remove these gravels before separation to enlarge the handling capacity. And here screening machine like vibrating screen or rotary screen can be involved to remove the gravels while sometimes rotary log washer can be needed. For the river sand with low content of clay, vibrating screen can help to get a good screening efficiency while for alluvial river sand with a certain percentage of stick clay, a rotary screen can do a good job, and for the placer gold with lots of sticky clay, a rotary log washer will be needed with better screening efficiency. Rotary log washer can both wash and classify the ore, so for alluvial gold ore of high content clay, this cylinder log washer can be a best choice.

Gold exists in the fine sand under screen and gravity separation equipment can be needed to enrich gold from this sand. The gold content is low in the sand, so high-efficient and energy-saving machines will be needed. The core gravity separator of gold is placer gold jigging separator and gold sluice. Jigger can deal with gold of high gold content and high recovery rate while sluice deals with gold of low gold content and large treatment capacity. Here Forui jigger of LTA series, JT saw tooth wave type and trapezoidal model can be used to recovery gold with high recovery and good beneficiation efficiency.

The gold concentrate from gold jigger and gold sluice needs further purification before smelting. And here fine selection machines like shaking table, amalgamation barrel can be needed. Shaking table can enrich gold continuously with its low recovery rate and easy operation while amalgamator works discontinuously with its high recovery rate. The choosing of this fine selection machine is very important to gold extraction.
