Structure, composition and inlay size of antimony ore decides the suitable concentration method. Gravity separation works well for most antimony ores because antimony is kind of mineral with big specific gravity and coarse inlay granules. Stibiconite, kermesite and valentinite is the antimony ore easiest to beneficiate by gravity separation. Gravity separation has been the main way to get antimony concentrate with its low plant cost and low operation cost and coarse antimony concentrate available removing large quantity of waste stone without antimony. Sometimes, gravity separation can not help to get the qualified concentrate of antimony. However, the gravity separation can work as a pre-separation for the following floatation separation. Gravity separation works as pre-separation especially for concentrating of antimony oxide.

Jig machine and shaking table is usually involved as gravity separators for antimony mineral upgrading. Jig separator is mainly for medium and coarse antimony separation while shaking table is used for fine antimony granule separation. With the development and improvement of jigging technology, jigger can also gain great efficiency in fine mineral granule enrichment and it takes place if shaking table to deal with fine ores. So jig concentrator is almost the only gravity separation for antimony ore.

Antimony mineral has a big density and almost all jiggers can help to gain great antimony concentrate. With the requirement of beneficiation technology and beneficiation efficiency, antimony jig concentrators have been divided into different types. Forui has jigger of JT1070/2 for fine granules, jiggers of LTA1010/2 and 2LTC6109/8T for medium granules while jigger of AM30 works well for coarse antimony blocks. But how choose the suitable model to get best beneficiation efficiency for antimony ore, please? The composition of ore and its inlay size and requirements about the beneficiation has been considered before choosing the right model.

After crushing and vibrating screen, the antimony ore can be divided into three size ranges of 8-30mm, 2-8mm, and 0-2mm. These three ranges will be fed into jiggers of AM30, LTA1010/2 and JT1070/2 correspondingly for jigging gravity separation. There are some fine antimony granules in the tailings from the jigger. Milling-classifying-agitation-floatation separation can be usually adopted after jigging gravity separation in order to improve the recovery. Shaking table can be involved to get the fine antimony oxide granules in tailing from floatation separation. So flow sheet of crushing-screening-jigging gravity separation-milling-classifying-agitation-floatation separation-shaking table gravity separation is usually used for antimony beneficiation. 
For some coarse inlay antimony ore, hand selection can be used to get the lumpy rich antimony blocks before crushing and jigging gravity separation.
