The main beneficiation way to get high grade chrome concentrate is chrome gravity separation. Magnetic separation is not so common because if its limitation about the magnetism difference while floatation separation is seldom use to update chrome ore. So here gravity separation is the core beneficiation method for chrome ore processing.

Gravity separator like chrome jig machine, sluice chute, shaking table can be involved as gravity separation equipment. Chrome jig separator is mainly for medium, coarse chrome granules with its good beneficiation efficiency, large treatment capacity and high recovery while sluice chute is mainly for fine chrome granule that jig machine can not recover with big capacity but low recovery. Shaking table is kind of fine selection machine mainly used to upgrade the concentrate from other gravity separators like chrome jig concentrator.
