Gold ore Beneficiation process
The placer gold beneficiation production line is a system for washing and extracting placer gold ore. The placer gold beneficiation production line is generally composed of trommel screen, ore washing machine, jig machine, mercury mixing tube, shaking table ,etc. Depending on the different properties of placer gold ores and the different requirements of customers, some equipment needs to be added or reduced.
The placer gold beneficiation process is similar to that of placer tin ore. Gold is free in placer gold ore, mostly in the form of flakes or particles, and the gold content in placer is very low.In order to extract gold from placer and obtain rich returns, a set of highly efficient and feasible beneficiation process and equipments must be adopted. Step 1:screening
Generally, large stones such as pebbles in placer gold ores are completely free of gold, but their content accounts for 20% to 80%.Therefore ,in the early stage of placer gold beneficiation, sieving and discarding such waste stones is of great significance to improve the working efficiency of the placer gold beneficiation production line.The screening process of placer gold mine usually adopts trommel screen or vibrating screen.
Step 2:washing
If the placer gold ore contains cohesive soil, (gold particles are easily wrapped by cohesive soil), in order to free most of the gold particles, the ore must be washed .For the placer gold ore with a big cohesive soil content, the cylinder washing machine is usually adopted. For the placer gold with little mud content, it can be directly sent tothe gravity beneficiation process after screening.
Step 3:gravity Separation
The gravity beneficiation process of placer gold ores mostly uses jig machines or chutes as rough separation equipment.For the placer gold ore with high gold content, it is recommended to use jig machine to ensure the highest recovery rate.For the placer gold ore with low gold content, it is recommended to use chute to ensure maximum processing capacity.
Step 4:refining
Gold can be directly extracted with amalgamation barrel or shaking table from the rough gold concentrate (which is enriched by jig machine or chute in step 3)
