How to improve the recovery rate of tin ore dressing plant?

not same with placer tin ore, cassiterite granules in rock tin ore is  with different sizes. The coarse particles can reach several centimeters and the fine particles can reach 200 mesh, it has a great influence on the beneficiation effect, especially the recovery rate. Although the beneficiation of rock tin ore has broken the single gravity beneficiation method, due to the applicability and cost of flotation, the gravity beneficiation method is still an indispensable method of  rock tin ore beneficiation.

Here, we want to tell everyone that using jigs to recycle coarse cassiterite as early as possible can improve the recovery rate greatly.

why would we say so?

The cassiterite is brittle and fragile, and it is very easy to cause over-crushing in the process of crushing and grinding, and the particle size of the over-crushed cassiterite generally exceeds the lower limit of recovery of the gravity beneficiation equipment such as jigs, spiral chutes, and shakers. It will lead to a decrease in the recovery rate.

Recycling coarse-grained cassiterite as eraly as possible can avoid the reduction of recovery rate caused by over-crushing.

So why use a jig to recover coarse-grained cassiterite instead of a spiral chute or shaker? First, the effective beneficiation size range of the jig is relatively wide,  the maximum  size can reach 30mm or more. But spiral chute or shaker does not have the ability to process these big particles.Secondly, the jig machine has a large  processing capacity, far exceeding the spiral chute and shaker. Finally, the jig  investment is small, the footprint is small, and it is easy to operate and maintain.Moreover, the jig can also be used as a pre-beneficiation equipment to enrich low-grade tin ore to reduce the cost of ore dressing.
