Quartz Gold Enrichment Processing Equipment
 

There is not all native gold in the quartz gold ore. Of course, for quartz gold of native gold, it is very easy to enrich. However, there are some other kinds of gold ores like gold packaged by sulfide, and gold beneficiation of this kind gold ore will be different from that of the native gold ore. Here is some share about gold extraction for different gold mines.

1. Quartz gold ore of fine native gold inlay

 

As the picture shows, this quartz gold ore is kind of fine gold granule inlay, and even gold can be seen with naked eyes, it is in shape of thin pieces and needs further milling to liberate the gold from the quartz gangue. Mercury board will be put at the output end of the ball mill to recovery big piece gold while the fine gold is still in the tailings from the mercury board. Floatation separation will be adopted to recover the gold in tailings to improve the processing recovery and lower gold loss. The flow sheet is as below:
 

2. Quartz gold ore of coarse native gold granules inlay

 

As the above picture shows, this quartz gold ore is kind of coarse native gold granules inlay, and this kind of quartz gold ore is easy to enrich. Big gold granule and a big density difference between gold and gangue makes gravity separation a great method to get most of the gold. The tailings output from the jigger gravity separation can be processed by mercury board or electric treadmills to recover the fine gold granules. This kind of ore is not so common, but there is really, and this quartz gold ore dressing flow sheet is as below:

 

3.  Quartz gold ore of intergrowth(native gold and sufide)

 

 

As the picture shows, the native gold and sulfide, usually iron pyrite, is inter-grown, i.e. sulfide is carrier of native gold granules. Sulfide shall be concentrated as well together with gold to guarantee gold recovery. Sulfide like pyrite is usually in coarse blocks with big density, so this ore can be enriched by gravity separation to get mixture of sulfide and gold. Further processing of concentrate from jigger will be needed to get the gold concentrate. Generally, calcining or cyaniding can be involved as further beneficiation of concentrate from gravity separation. The common flow sheet can be as below:

 

Actually, floatation separation is the main beneficiation way for quartz gold ore, but not the ideal way for all quartz gold ore and sometimes gravity separation can play an irreplaceable part in gold processing line with its high recovery and low operation cost.
