How is gold extracted from river sand using jig machine

The jig is a gravity beneficiation equipment, and its working principle is: minerals with different specific gravity will be re-stratified according to the specific gravity in the vertical alternating medium flow.Minerals with a larger specific gravity will settle faster and will sink into the lower layer quickly.Minerals with a smaller specific gravity are slow to settle and will float up quickly,in this way, the purpose of mineral separation is achieved.

The gold in the sand gold mine is in a free state, so it does not need to be crushed and ground like the beneficiation of rock gold mine.The specific gravity of gold is much greater than that of sand. When they enter the sorting tank of the jig at the same time, the gold will quickly sink into the concentrate tank, and the sand will flow into the tailing tank and be discharged.In this way, jig machines perfectly  separate gold from river sand.
