The raw chromite ore shall be crushed by jaw crusher followed by vibration screen to screen the crushed ore to be -30mm, and +30mm. The +30mm ore will go for the fine jaw crusher for secondary crushing while the -30mm ore will be fed into the rod mill through hopper and feeder together with the output from the fine jaw crusher. The rough milling of the rod mill aims to liberate or dissociate the chromite grains from the impurities. Then gravity separator of chromite jig separator will be involved to get chromite concentrate as final concentrate. Magnetic concentrator will be used to get chromite from tailings from gravity concentration. Here the intensity magnetic separator is used to get the chromite which is not liberated from the impurities. The concentrate from magnetic separation will be milled by ball mill, and then gravity separation of jigging gravity separator or shaking concentration table to get the final chromite concentrate and final tailings.
