Diamond Mining Machinery--Forui jig separator and oil diamond separator

The diamond content is low in crude diamond mine, so rough separation and fine selection, even combination separation will be needed for diamond separation. Here is some introduce about the diamond separation equipment.

1. Rough separation for diamond mineral

The diamond mining separation is firstly the rough separation to remove most of the waste gangue. Gravity separation machines involved for the diamond rough separation are mainly pan-washing separation, jigging separation, and heavy-medium separation. All three methods work on density difference between diamond and waste gangue. And during the three methods, jigging separation is easy to operate, with its high recovery rate of +97% and good enrichment efficiency. Diamond jig separator has a large handling capacity and no requirements about the water quality.
 
Jigger without classifying is used in rough concentration of diamond ore. This trapezoidal jig machine makes use of water as medium, and works on basic of density difference between diamond and its gangue. It has four independent jigging slots and it can be adjusted separately with its high recovery and great beneficiation efficiency. There are eight jigging chambers with its long jigging distance. So it is widely used in beneficiation of gold, tin, and diamond ore.
 
2. Fine selection of diamond mineral
 
There are many selection methods for diamond ore during which oil diamond separation and X-ray diamond separation is most commonly used. Oil diamond separation works on basic of lipophilicity difference of different materials with its good separation efficiency and high recovery rate. X-ray separation can recover diamond 100% with the automatic operation, but complex operation and high maintenance cost. The vibrating belt oil diamond separator is new designed plant for diamond concentration and it improves the handling capacity by three times with higher recovery that normal oil diamond separators.
 
The working section of this belt diamond separator is separation belt and the belt is around the preliminary wheel and tailblock with a certain inclination with the horizontal level. The inclination can be adjusted according to the vibrating feeding device. The feeding material is put onto the separation belt through vibrating feeder. There is water pipe up on the separation belt. The oil-coating box is installed on the tailblock end and it will spread the oil continuously to the belt. There is an electric heating scraping knife and it can remove the oil layer with diamond granules. The oil with diamond ore will be deoiled to get the diamond concentrate. And the gangue not sticky to the oil will be washed to the tailings slot.
