The commonly used antimony ore beneficiation methods are manual selection, gravity separation and flotation.The manual selection is to use the difference in color, gloss and shape of antimony-containing minerals and associated gangues in the antimony ore for sorting, is a method of beneficiation through human eye observation and hand picking.This kind of beneficiation method is labor-intensive, but it is of special significance for the beneficiation of coarse-grained antimony ore. Because antimony minerals often appear as coarse crystals or massive aggregates, manual selection can obtain high-grade block antimony concentrate .It can be directly used in the antimony metallurgical vertical roaster. In addition, the production cost of the manual selection is relatively low, so it is still widely used in the field of antimony ore beneficiation .
The gravity separation is suitable for most antimony ore beneficiation. Lots of the antimony ore is a mineral with a large specific gravity and a coarse crystal size. It is easy to separate the antimony mineral and gangue by using the gravity separation method.(Antimony oxide, antimony sulfide, antimony sulfide-antimony oxide ore are all very suitable for gravity separation. Especially in the case of antimony oxide in the current stage of flotation is difficult to deal with, the gravity separation method is almost the most ideal beneficiation method).
